Absolutely no! In fact, this is the perfect time to start.  As we age, it becomes increasingly important to engage in strength training.  Muscle loss begins as early as our 30’s, and accelerates with each passing decade.  Additionally, during perimenopause and menopause, there’s a heightened risk of bone loss, and building muscle can help strengthen your bones.  I’m 62 years old, and I’m still actively building muscle – and you can too!

Let’s be candid. First, it depends on your personal definition of “amazing”.  Our bodies naturally age, and while it might not be feasible to replicate the physique you had in your twenties, I wholeheartedly believe that women over 50 can attain incredible physical fitness.  

I’m 62, and I’m in better shape now than I was at 20, 30 or even 40.  And guess what? I’m not finished yet.  I’m still on a journey of building muscle, and you can join me in this endeavor too.

Yes! Tight & Toned was developed for the absolute beginner.  The 12-week program starts out with shorter workouts (around 11 minutes per day) and only 2 days per week for the first six weeks. This gives you time to get acclimated to working out consistently.  In weeks 7-12, you’ll  bump it up to 3 days per week.  Workouts will still remain relatively short – around 20 minutes each.

Absolutely not! It’s extremely challenging for women to build enough muscle to appear bulky. Our bodies lack the necessary testosterone levels for such results.

You will need minimal equipment.  You’ll need resistance bands and at least one set of dumbbells to get started.  As you get stronger, you may need to invest in another heavier set of dumbbells.

Tight & Toned starts out at 2 days per week for the first six weeks and then increases to 3 days per week for the last six weeks.

You have 2 options related to private coaching calls with Kim.  Option 1 is 6 coaching calls. These calls can be used any time throughout the 12-week program.  In general, most women will schedule a coaching call every other week.  

Option 2 is 12 coaching calls.  These calls are generally used one per week; however, they can be used based on your needs.

In addition to the private coaching calls, you will also have the opportunity to email Kim with questions throughout the 12 weeks.  Kim will respond within 24 hours.
